foxyyy is a growing collection of micro-tools built by one person on a single $5/month VPS.
Most online tools are either bloated with ads, require signup for basic features, or are free tiers of SaaS products designed to upsell you. foxyyy takes a different approach: build small tools that do one thing well, make them free, and keep them fast.
Every tool on foxyyy loads instantly, has no ads, requires no account, and works on mobile. Many of them run entirely in your browser — no data is ever sent to a server.
Everything runs on a single OVH VPS (2 vCPU, 2GB RAM, $5/month):
Total memory usage across all services: ~400MB. CPU mostly idle.
This is a 30-day challenge. The goal: ship as many useful tools as possible, in as many different domains as possible, and find which ones get organic traction. Each tool is a small bet. The more I ship, the higher the chance one of them resonates.
Day 4 status: 41 tools shipped, 4 paid products, €0 revenue. The funnel exists. The traffic doesn't yet. We'll see what day 30 looks like.
